Final notes:
- My Instant Pot stays on the countertop, much to my minimalist husband’s chagrin. It’s a steady hub of experimentation as it’s my first pressure/multi cooker. Nine times out of ten, there’s a soup on, and it’s making mealtime a snap.
- No pressure, but if you go see Fifty Shades Freed, where Christian Grey tries to cook for his wife and burns the tomato sauce, you’ll see the trailer for Book Club, coming out May 18, written and produced by Erin Simms and Bill Holderman, directed by Bill, and slated to be a huge hit (from my lips to God’s ears) starring a cast that drips with must-see-ability; Jane Fonda, Diane Keaton, Mary Steenburgen, Candice Bergen, Andy Garcia, Don Johnson, Richard Dreyfuss, Alicia Silverstein, Mircea Monroe, Katie Aselton, Craig T. Nelson, Wallace Shawn, Ed Begley Jr., Tommy Dewey and Lili Bordán. Now that was a mouthful — almost as whopping as 40 soups.

Thanks Shelley! I look forward to experimenting with different soup bowls to get new looks in the future. Sometimes the soups are so thick that I worry they don’t photograph well. Try, try again is my motto.
We’re so excited for Erin and her movie. I’ll even go see Fifty Shades Freed just to see the Book Club trailer in a theatre!

Wonderful to see these all on one page. SOUP TIME here in the northern world. And steamy from the trailer, but on the edge of my seat for BOOK CLUB. A different kind of steam.

I agree Mindy. It’s fun to look back at jittery soups made since 2011. And fun to look ahead to Book Club. I think I could live on soup and movies.
