Final notes:
- Don’t be too upset, I’ve found a new hobby — knitting. It calms me and produces original clothing. Although I’ve knit up some very simple scarf type garments over the years, this time I’ve selected a complicated pattern that challenges my ability to stay focused. If you’re a knitter, think about going to the knitting circle at Espace Tricot on Monkland, Friday afternoons between 1 and 5.
- Have you heard of Ted× Montreal Women? The theme for 2016 was time: IT’S ABOUT TIME! The speakers who blew me away and kept me on an emotional rollercoaster included Divi Chandna, Gaelle Vuillaume, Nina Hermes, Simone Cavanaugh, Caroline Codsi, Milla Craig, Marya Zarif, Courtney Jackson, Emma Hason, Joanne Lavoie, Tara Akhavan, Laurie Betito, Juss Kaur and Wanda Bedard. Eventually their talks will be online so you can catch the TEDx Montreal Women fever. It’ll be well worth your time. For now, you can catch two outstanding TED Talks we all enjoyed, comedian Maysoon Zayid, “I got 99 problems…palsy is just one,” and oceanographer and explorer Sylvia Earle, “How to Protect the Oceans.”

Amazing! My repertoire does not even include that many chicken recipes, never mind my blog! Great to see you and catch up st FBC2016!

Can’t really claim that’s my repertoire, Diane. After 5 years of recipe collecting I need reminding of what I’ve made and inspiration to repeat successes. It was amazing to see you at FBC2016. Are you up for Ottawa in 2017? I’ve registered and already know it’ll be amazing.
