“I said; “What are you talking about?” We didn’t go to restaurants. The best food was at home. We went to a restaurant maybe 5 times. We had food growing in the garden—strictly an Italian immigrant thing My dad would go to work early—he was a carpenter—come home at 4 and stay in the garden until the sun went down.”
